Quantitative Developer

This role provides a unique opportunity to work alongside and be mentored by the experienced Portfolio Manager and CTO. Our quantitative developers are expected to utilize programming, statistical, mathematical, big database and financial skills acquired though professional and academic endeavors in the design, development, fine tuning, and testing of leading-edge models and algorithms in a real trading environment. Operations Role

Maritime Capital LLC is looking for an operation analyst who will report directly to the COO/CFO.

Responsibilities
  • Daily reconciliations of positions and cash with Prime Brokers and Fund Administrator, including verification of daily P&L.
  • Coordinate with Prime Brokers, Executing Brokers and Administrator to rectify and resolve trade breaks and ensure timely settlement of trades.
  • Process all daily trade activity and help support the trading desk.
  • Analyze and distribute all financing reports.
  • Book any and all Corporate Actions including voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, dividends and all proxies.
  • Work closely with Marketing to help in investor due diligence and reporting.
Skills & Experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2-5 years of experience with fund operations or Prime Brokerage experience and fixed income/multi strategy background is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and ability to work within a small firm.
